Sacred Gathering on Holy Ground

When God’s people gather together we gather on holy ground…..For God is holy and wherever He is…it is holy, (For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them. Matthew 18:20.) We present ourselves before the LORD an offering of the highest praise which is our lives….a place of consecration and sanctification. A place of communion beneath the mercy seat of our Lord Jesus Christ. We enter within the torn veil through the blood of Christ into the Most Holy Place. In this place we seek the LORD and minister unto Him, a place of revelation, God revealing His truth and His purpose. The Most Holy Place where the high priest, if he had done just one thing wrong in the process of preparing himself before the LORD he would fall dead in the presence of God. Questions to ask ourselves….. Worship leaders: Should you really present yourselves, while entertaining the congregation with “strange fire” unto the Lord in His House? (Leviticus 10) Pastors: Should you really handle the “Word of God” deceitfully conforming to the wisdom and fashion of this world, and not to the Revelation knowledge of Christ? (Acts 20:28, 1 Corinthians 1:17-24 & 2 Corinthians 4:2) Church goers: Should you really sit in the cushioned chairs sipping on your Cappuccino’s and Latte’s with “itchy ears” embracing a socially excepted feel good gospel claiming you have no responsibility in your salvation? (Isaiah 30:9-12 & 2 Timothy 4:3-4) Non church going believers: should your excuses for not seeking God be blamed on those around you, and even those you do not know? (Acts 17:39) Question for all who say they believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and handle His Holy Word as if it’s just a book from a second hand store: Where is the fear of this God you say you believe in? (Hebrews 10:31 & Luke 11:35) Sacred Gathering on Holy Ground (Exodus 3:1-12, 14) We as God's people gather together for worship to present ourselves before a Holy God. It was and should still be a sacred gathering. When Moses encountered God at the burning bush scripture teaches us clearly how we are to approach God. 1. Moses looked…..God gets our attention. 2. Moses turned to see…..Repentance 3. When the LORD saw Moses turn and He then called unto Moses out of the midst of the bush, and said…..Moses turns, God sees then God speaks…. 4. Moses, Moses….Moses response; “Here I am” 5. God said, “ draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou stands is……Holy Ground” Consecration and sanctification…putting off the old/flesh to put on the new…righteousness of Christ. 6. God reveals Himself….I Am the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. God the creator, God who made covenant and the God who has declared the end from the beginning. 6. Moses hides his face for he was afraid to look upon God…..Holy reverence. 7. The LORD sees, the LORD hears, the LORD knows, and He came…. A. I have seen thy affliction. B. I have heard their cry. C. I know their sorrows… D. I Am come down to deliver them… E. To bring them up out of that land (Egypt)…unto a good land flowing with milk And honey….. 8. Come now and I will send you…..Great Commission 9. To bring forth God’s people out of Egypt….(Bondage, slavery) turning their eyes from darkness to light, and from the power of satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance among the saints which are sanctified by faith in Christ. (Acts 26:18) 10. When the people are out of Egypt, they shall serve God upon this mountain…. Serve as in worship, serve as in obedience, not with convenience, worship in Spirit and in truth. Three things God seeks..... 1. For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.....Luke 19:10 2.The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth to show Himself strong. 2 Chronicles 16:9; sought for a man among them that should make up the hedge and stand in the gap before me...Ezekiel 22:30 3. The hour comes and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeks such to worship Him. god is a Spirit: and they that worship Him MUST worship Him in spirit and in truth.... John 4:23-24 The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth.....seeks the lost soul, seeks to show himself strong through us as we stand in the gap, and He seeks us to worship Him in spirit and in truth. If you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ be a worshippers of the Living God, and fear before Him, knowing that He has the power to just kill our bodies, but to cast our souls into hell.....it is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the Living God.....Jesus himself said, And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken; but on whosoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder. (Matthew 21:44) For thus saith the High and Lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is HOLY; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones....Isaiah 57:15 Thus saith the LORD, the heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that you build unto me? And where is the place of my rest? For all those things hath my hand made, and all those things have been, saith the LORD: but to this man will I LOOK….even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and TREMLETH at My WORD……Isaiah 66:1-2 O Lord God, God of my Fathers, The God of Abraham, the God Isaac, the God of Jacob…….hear my prayer that I pray unto You this day. You who inhabit eternity, inhabit the praises of Your people as we turn our hearts from our wicked ways, we turn our hearts in repentance unto you. With a humble and contrite heart we come seeking Your face, desiring to worship You in Spirit and in Truth. Seek us Lord as we worship You! Let us search and try our ways, and turn again to the LORD. Let us lift up our hearts with our hands unto God in the heavens….Yeshua HaMashiach, let my prayer be set before Thee as incense, and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice. I pray for Thy people Israel, peace be within the walls of Jerusalem. I pray for revival in the land of Your people, and within the hearts and minds of all who say they believe on You Lord Jesus. Psalm 86:11 Teach me thy way, O LORD; I will walk in thy truth: unite my heart to fear thy name.

The Purpose of the Pulpit and the Order of Worship

The Book of Nehemiah chapter 8 & 9 reveals the purpose of the pulpit and the order of worship. Ezra stood upon a pulpit of wood which they had made for this purpose. 1. Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people, and when he opened it, all the people stood up. 2. Ezra blessed the Lord, the Great God. All the people answered, Amen, Amen, lifting up their hands, and worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground. 3. They read from the book of the Law of God and caused the people to understand the reading. 4. Israel separated themselves from strangers and stood and confessed their sins, and the iniquity of their fathers. 5. They stood up and read from the book of the law of the Lord their God one forth of the day, and another forth of the day they confessed and worshipped the Lord their God….. God communes with His people through worship. It is not a three ring circus for the self indulgence of your flesh, pastors; nor is it for the entertainment of your eyes, church. Acts 3:19...repent, be converted and the times of refreshing will come from the presence of the Lord. If the world could be saved by worldly means then Christ death is in vain. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins! Today, many pastors and leaders that stand behind a pulpit trust within themselves and their own righteousness. It is written in the Word of God that there is none righteous, no not one. Jesus said, “For God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son.“ He did not say, For God so loved the world that He became like the world….Jesus said, “the Son of man came into the world not to condemn it, but to save it“…The Son of man came into the world to save us, not for us to continue be like the world, but He made the way for us to come out and be separate. Today, the American church does not look like the Blood Bought Church of the Bible. A people called out to be a light in a darkened world. A people who declare His truth to all generations in a world that embraces lies. A people who overcome by the blood of the Lamb and the Word of their testimony. A people unashamed of the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ…..for they know that Christ is the power and wisdom of God. The Bible speaks for itself and it stands set apart from all other books that have or ever will be written…Forever O LORD Thy Word is settled in heaven, let it be established within our hearts. From the pulpit to the pews, from the cooperate office to the lonely streets…Hear the Word of the LORD and LIVE!!! Psalm 51 A Prayer of Repentance Have mercy upon me, O God, According to Your lovingkindness; According to the multitude of Your tender mercies, Blot out my transgressions. Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin. For I acknowledge my transgressions, And my sin is always before me. Against You, You only, have I sinned, And done this evil in Your sight— That You may be found just when You speak, And blameless when You judge. Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity, And in sin my mother conceived me. Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts, And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom. Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean; Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow. Make me hear joy and gladness, That the bones You have broken may rejoice. Hide Your face from my sins, And blot out all my iniquities. Create in me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me. Do not cast me away from Your presence, And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me. Restore to me the joy of Your salvation, And uphold me by Your generous Spirit. Then I will teach transgressors Your ways, And sinners shall be converted to You. Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God, The God of my salvation, And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness. O Lord, open my lips, And my mouth shall show forth Your praise. For You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it; You do not delight in burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, A broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise. Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; Build the walls of Jerusalem. Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, With burnt offering and whole burnt offering; Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar. John 6:63 It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. Then said Jesus unto the twelve, Will you also go away? Then Simon Peter answered Him, "LORD, to whom shall we go? thou has the Words of eternal life. And we believe and are sure that thou art the Christ, the Son of the Living God!" John 6:67-69

Amazing Night of Ministry at Friendship Park!

So, I must admit. I was hoping for rain tonight. Rain meant Tom and I could stay home. I could work on my message for Worship Service tomorrow. Jesus House has made a commitment to show movies at Friendship Park on Saturday nights. 80% chance of rain turned into just a few drops. 7:00pm came and so did the clear skies. Tom and I load the van. Movie screen, projector, Sound system, blender and all the slushy fixing’s….etc. There are a few kids gathered in the park. As we unload three kids asked if they could help. I could feel the love and acceptance of God’s presence for these kids. After unloading, one boy helps set up for slushy’s with great joy asking if he could help serve the slushy’s and he did. Three other boys play with the microphones. Singing, rapping and having a fun time. We open the night with prayer asking God’s blessings upon our evening. We need water for the slushy’s. I’m walking back to Jesus House to get the 5 gallon cooler for water, and a young girl, maybe 8 and her little brother, might be 6 ask if they can walk with me. I said they would need to ask their mom. Well, mom was home sleeping, but big brother who’s like 11 says it’s ok. We walk and as we come to the intersection of Washington and Allen, Mac, my daughter’s dog is looking out of the upstairs window barking. I call his name and he stops. The young girl says to me, “you live here” and I said yes. I live upstairs. The younger brother says, “you live with Jesus!” My reply, yes I do. I live with Jesus. As we came inside Jesus House they are both amazed. They said, Jesus has a nice house…..lol The little boy asked me, “why do you get to live in Jesus House?”….Well I said, because He has asked me to help Him take care of His people.” Well, they thought that was just the coolest thing. We are now walking back to the park and the two kids are amazed that I live with Jesus. So, I said to them, ‘You can live with Jesus too” they asked how? My answer, “When you believe in Jesus He comes and lives within your heart.” The little boy says, Jesus died for us, right, I said yes, He did. I asked, is Jesus still dead, and they said no, He is alive…GLORY!!! And the young girl said, “Jesus, is the Son of God!” (Luke 18:16&17) But Jesus called them unto him, and said, Suffer little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God. Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child shall in no wise enter therein. As the movie is playing and children are eating slushy’s and running around the park. I notice two men walking down the side walk with a look that said, “what is happening in the park?” I approach them. We have a small dialog about the movie. I ask them a few questions about themselves. They are new to town, both from Chicago staying at the shelter. I invite them to come to Jesus House tomorrow. And one gentlemen asked if I would pray for him. I am not one of those people who say ok I will pray for you, and then walk away. If you ask for prayer we are going to pray. I join hands with him and pray for him. Another GLORY!!! We are well into the movie. What once appeared to be tough gangster are now sitting watching “Journey 2” and the peace of God fills Friendship Park as the children play! Slushy’s come to an end. Tom takes the slushy and etc….to the van. I felt the need to walk over to him. Knowing that both of us were tired and really wanted to stay home, but knew in our hearts we must be faithful to that which God has given to us. I see the smile in his eyes. He had such a wonderful time making slushy’s with the kids. A man walks across the street coming toward us. We exchange hellos. I ask him how he’s doing. He say’s better, but it’s been a bad day. I ask if we can pray for him. He say’s yes. I ask if there was anything specific? He say’s with a desperation in his voice, “ I need Salvation!” Again, GLORY!!! Tom and I lay our hands upon him and pray. You would think it’s over. The van is loaded. We have three kids that we are taking home because it’s 10pm and they do not live close to the park. We pull in the drive to drop off two of the kids, and the mom comes out of the house, and then the 18 year old sister comes out of the house. Walking toward the van. Then the dad comes out as well. The window is down in the van as we are talking with them. The 18 year old lays her head on the door of the van and ask for prayer. She has a kidney infection from her drug addiction. She is physically sick, and knows she has screwed up and needs God to help her. Tom and I along with her mom, dad and siblings lay hands on her and pray in Jesus name! Wow! Can you say GLORY!!! You and I…. Ambassadors of the Lord Jesus Christ, He has given us the ministry of Reconciliation. He has commissioned us to GO. Preach the Gospel, lay hands on the sick, cast out demons. In John 4:6 Jesus was weary from His journey and He sat down by Jacobs well and you know the rest of the story, right? We must look past our weariness and throw ourselves out there in the midst of this fallen world to see the power of God’s love at work. (2 Chronicles 16:9) For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. (1 Corinthians 15:58) Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the LORD, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the LORD. My many experiences with the LORD over the last 26 years I have learned obedience even when I’m tired and have a list of things to do, and wish it would rain so I could have a break. My LORD always gives me strength to do HIS WILL, not mine. And my Jesus, never ceases to amaze me. GLORY! Thank you Lord Jesus for being with us at Friendship Park tonight! You truly are Immanuel, God with us!!!

Immanuel

A few of us "Jesus Freaks" gathered for worship downtown on the square last night....as we sat with our instruments lifting our voice in worship unto the Most High God we were surrounded by a half dozen homeless people. As we worshipped, they listened and as they listened the peace of God fell upon them. It was a beautiful sight. To behold the peace and rest of my LORD settle their hearts, even if it was just for a moment.. Jesus came to them last night and sat with them. I was reminded of King Saul, who would have a tormenting spirit and he would call for David to come play his harp before him to chase away the evil spirits…..for two and half hours as we worshipped the Lord amongst the lost, the broken, ridden with not just addiction but hopelessness. I witnessed the power of the Lord’s Presence giving light to those who sit in darkness and bringing peace in the midst of torment. The Eternal God is our refuge, and underneath are His Everlasting Arms. Thank You Jesus!!! You are Immanuel, GOD WITH US!!!

My Story Written Within the Pages of His Story

Shalom and blessings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ! Throughout my walk with Christ many friends and fellow believers have encouraged me to "Write my Story." I have PONDERED the idea. Over the years I have written bits and pieces of my story, either through a song I've written or within messages I've shared at Jesus House or other speaking engagements. Over a period of almost two years now, I have MET with a local author and together we have dared to venture into the memories that were sketched into my darkened soul to write a creative memoir. I must say, I am beyond excited to declare the greatness of God’s love, His redemptive work through the cross of my Lord Jesus Christ, and the power of His presence that has always been before me, and now dwells within me. Coming soon…..My Story! Anyone want to guess what the title might be???????....and to those of you who know, shhh......be quET!

The Work of Our Hands

For the first time in my life I was left speechless....No words can describe tonight's emotions. Outside the Jesus House there are four gun shots, seconds later we are praying for a 19 year old boy who was shot in the face and shoulder, the neighborhood was in an uproar. Mothers wandering aimlessly looking for their children as fear tries to grip the heart of the residents. I will say this, in the midst of it all I saw the Lord Jesus Christ! I'm not sure what tomorrow looks like for West Bloomington, but I know there is a God in heaven and He has placed a remnant of people filled with His compassion and are not ashamed nor afraid of this darkened world. I am so proud of my Jesus House family, and the neighbors who came not only to the meeting tonight, but were not afraid to get involved. Tonight, I saw a community come together, and it was and is a beautiful sight. There is not a quick fix nor an easy solution to the problems that lie ahead of us, but there is a promise from my God; Every where are feet shall tread, He has given us the land, and He will bless the work of our hands....Jesus House will be present at Friendship Park! I challenge every Christian in Bloomington/Normal, I challenge every Pastor in West Bloomington to join us. It only took twelve men to turn the world upside down. God looks for a willing heart. Are you willing? Many signs and wonders were done through the hands of the disciples. What are you doing with your hands? The hands of my husband held the face of a young man who was just shot in the face. The world will never believe in your God if you do not get out side your comfort zone and do something with your hands. Get involved. Would you like to go on a mission trip? Jesus House welcomes you to join them in the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ, who went about doing good, healing all who were sick and oppressed of the devil. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil. It's every day people. Every day these kids are dying not knowing Jesus. What will you say when you stand before God? Jesus said, when you have lifted up the Son of Man, then you will know that I Am He….and you attend church, you hear a good song, and say, “What a great sermon!”….and still do nothing. Jesus said, if you come close to Me, I will come close to you, and you attend Bible study, and talk about it….and still do nothing. Jesus said, if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all men unto myself; we hear of missionaries who risk their lives for the good of others sharing the gospel of Jesus, and we say, “O what a great work!”…and still we do nothing. Many sit, eat, and drink never giving attention to the rest of the world. Self absorb, thinking their ok when Jesus said, Search the scriptures and you think you have eternal life, yet, they speak of me….and still you do not know me. In the day of judgment when Jesus will separate the sheep from the goats He will not ask what church you attend, He will not ask if you’ve been baptized. He will say in that day, “What YOU have done unto the least of these YOU have done it unto me.” Quote from Doctor Reverend David Lee - Grace Home, Taipei, Taiwan.

The Light of Jesus Christ Shines Brightest in the Dark

O' how I wish I would of known Jesus at a young age. I did not. Yet, I am so thankful I did not grow up within the formalism of main stream Christianity of today. There has never been anything easy and nice about my life, nor has there ever been anything easy and nice about the calling and ministry the Lord has given me. I will say this, I am who I am by the grace of God, and I live in a fallen world filled with broken people. Life is messes, and I wouldn't want to live any other way. Jesus seeks the lost, He heals the broken, His name is a refuge, a strong tower. We, as not just "believers" of Christ, but "followers" of Christ need to shine the light of Jesus to a darkened world, and not be afraid of sin. The gospel of Mark paints a beautiful picture of this in Chapter One. Jesus was preaching in the synagogues, and casting out devils, now that I find interesting. Anyway, A leper came to Him, begging Him as he kneeled down saying, “Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean” and immediately Jesus is moved with compassion, He stretches out His hand and touches him, this man with the flesh eating disease Jesus touches him and then Jesus says to him, “ I am willing’ be healed” …Jesus touched him first, and then He healed him….…saints of God, ought we not to be about our Father’s business? Seeking the lost, healing the sick, and casting out devils? Do not be afraid of the sin of others or their sickness. O’ how I long for the boldness of the Holy Spirit to rise within us, to let His love and compassion move us to a place were we are not afraid of others who might look different, speak in a language not so pleasing to the modern day Christian ears…..O’ How I desire to see Jesus high and lifted up for all the world to know His everlasting love, and receive His everlasting gospel. Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven!

Forgive Them Father They Know Not What They Do….or Do They?

One does not need to "re-think" or "reinvent" Christianity, one needs to repent. There's nothing new under the sun, the same lie in the Garden of Eden is the same lie within the world today. "Did God really mean what He said", "let me interpret what He really meant to say".....Almighty God has given us His commandments, not a conversation, The Everlasting God, is not a man that He would lie, what He has said and purposed before the foundations of the world He will perform. His Word is forever settled in the heavens, ones Beliefs do not evolve, theologies do not evolve, and they most defiantly do not evolve beyond God's written Word.......So many will follow the voice of the serpent in these last days, "Hath God said?" and "God knows your eyes will be open and you will become gods" Yes, many will be found guilty...... Romans 1:21-25 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened. Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. Jeremiah 18:15 Because my people hath forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ANCIENT PATHS, to walk in paths, in a way not cast up. I leave you with a quote from my Lord Jesus Christ: The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel. Mark 1:14-16 When we truly see the ugliness of our sinful nature, then we will see the beauty of our Savior!

All That Can Be Shaken Will Be Shaken

I am always amazed and forever I will stand in awe of God’s love, His purpose, and His power to perform what He desires for my life. I have set my heart to seek the Lord. I know in whom I believe and I am persuaded He is able to keep me, and all that I commit to Him.

March 2011. My daughter, Gabrielle and I are scheduled to visit Quinton and Karen Nantz, Missionaries at Christ College (www.christc.org.tw) in Taipei, Taiwan, also dear friends of Jesus House. I am one who does not enjoy flying. The thought of being strapped inside a big metal tube that is shooting across the sky at 500 plus miles per hour at 40,000 feet in the air seems very UNATRUAL to me…..but I knew the Lord had opened a door for me to go.

Two days before our departure date there’s a ‘Solar Storm” producing a “Solar Flare”…..due to arrive on earth Thursday, and our flight leaves early Friday morning….and I quote: “It’s hitting us right in the nose,’’ said Joe Kunches, a scientist for the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration in Boulder, Colo. Everything within my flesh is screaming, “Don’t Go” but I knew I had to trust the Lord, and follow through with His plans, and not my fears.

We arrive safely in Taiwan. Our steps were ordered of the Lord, and we meet some amazing people who have given their lives for the Everlasting Gospel, and we experienced wonderful things in the presence of our Lord.

Our week went by fast. We are scheduled to fly home on Saturday morning with our connecting flight in Tokyo, for our return to the States. Wednesday night reported in the news, Japan has an earthquake with a small tsunami, is it just me, but I think any size tsunami is bad…..right?

By MARI YAMAGUCHI, Associated Press
TOKYO -- A series of earthquakes rattled Tokyo and northeastern Japan on Wednesday evening but caused no apparent damage or injury in the same region hit by last year's devastating tsunami. A magnitude-6.8 earthquake first struck the southern coast of Hokkaido island in the evening, causing a small tsunami. Tsunami advisories were issued along the northern Pacific coast, prompting some communities to advise residents to evacuate coastal homes.

All that can be shaken WILL be shaken……within one week of my travel, just one week. Solar Storms, Earthquakes, and a Tsunami. A few weeks prier to my travel deadly storms sweep through the Midwest. Tornadoes rip through several states, taking lives of the young and old, destroying not just homes, but whole towns were completely wiped off the map.

We can read about it in the paper, on the internet or we can hear it within the news, Hollywood film makers bring in millions of dollars with titles like; Doomsday, After Shock, Armageddon, When Time Ran Out, The Abyss, The Perfect Storm, Day After Tomorrow, Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Where have all the People Gone, Warning Signs, Without Warning, The Last man on Earth, The Black Whole, Alien Intruder, The Creature Wasn’t Nice, The Day the Earth Stood Still (1951 & 2008)…The Day the Earth Stopped also 2008, The Sum of All Fears, and The End of Days…..let’s not forget 2012.…lol, and just to mention a few within the Christian community: Years of the Beast, and Left Behind One, Two, and Three…..Should I dare to mention the book, “88 Reason Why Jesus Will Return in 1988.” or May 21st. 2011 End of the World…then the date changed to October 21st. 2011. Jesus said NO man knows the day or the hour of His return……What about Louis Farrakhan and his claim he visited “the Islamic Mother Ship” hovering over earth that will be death to the white man, or the coming of The Twelfth Imam….And the list goes on and on….

My point is this. Everyone in this world, from Christianity, to all other religions, and even the secular community knows, and believes that something is about to happen. Common sense would tell us that the world cannot continue the path it’s on without destroying itself. Man left to himself will destroy himself.

The Lord Jesus Christ instructs believers in the Gospel of Luke Chapter Twenty One about events that would take place before His return. Let’s take a brief look at the list found in Luke Twenty One:
Luke 21:7-38
And they asked Him saying, master, but when shall these things be? And what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass?

Jesus answered and said, Take heed, Be on guard, and be careful you are NOT lead astray; for many will come in my name, saying, I am the Christ; and the time draws near: Do NOT go after them….

Jesus said, but when YOU HEAR of wars, and insurrection (disturbances, disorder, and confusion), do not become alarmed and panic-stricken and terrified; for all this MUST take place first, but the end will not come immediately. Then He told them, Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And mighty and violent earthquakes.

(A link to the Top Ten Deadliest Earthquakes in Histroy……..Earthquakeshttp://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/42029974/ns/world_news-asia_pacific/t/top-deadliest-earthquakes-history/)

And in various places famines and pestilences (plagues, malignant, and contagious [2011 Movie with the same title] or infectious epidemic diseases which are deadly and devastating); and there will be signs of terror and great signs from heaven.

Other signs: Persecution; You will be delivered up and betrayed even by parents and brothers and relatives and friends, and some of you will put to death. And you will be hated (despised) by everyone because you bear the name of Jesus Christ, and for its sake…..the Lord promises not a hair of your head shall perish….by your steadfastness and patient endurances you shall win the TRUE LIFE of your souls…....Hallelujah!

Then Jesus tells us, When you see Jerusalem surrounded by armies, then KNOW and UNDERSTAND that its desolation has come near. Link to resent threats to Jerusalem…..http://youtu.be/q3GC6omx8yo ….For these are the days of vengeance that all things that are written may be fulfilled.

For great misery and anguish and distress shall be upon the land and indignation and punishment and retribution upon this people. They will fall by the mouth and the edge of the sward and will be led away captives to and among all nations; and Jerusalem will be trodden down by the gentiles UNTIL the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled (complete.) Romans eleven reveals this truth as well. God has put a spirit of slumber on Israel, eyes they cannot see, and ears they cannot hear unto this day, for salvation to come to the Gentiles. And if the casting away of them be the reconciling of the world, what shall the receiving of them be, but LIFE from the dead!(The Latter Rain)

And there shall be signs in the sun and moon and stars; and upon the earth [there will be] distress (trouble and anguish) of nations in bewilderment and perplexity [without resources, left wanting, embarrassed, in doubt, not knowing which way to turn] at the roaring (the echo) of the sea.

Men swooning away or expiring with fear and dread and apprehension and expectation of things that are coming on the world; for the [very] powers of the heavens will be shaken and caused to totter.

Matthew 24:29 KJV
Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

Mark 13:25 KJV
And the stars of heaven shall fall, and the powers that are in heaven shall be shaken

Isaiah 24:19-21: speaks of the earth being violently broken…the earth is split open…the earth is exceedingly shaken…..the earth shall reel back and forth like a drunkard….and Matthew and Mark speak of the sun being darkened, the moon not giving light, the stars of heaven fall, and the powers of the heavens will be shaken……THEN, THEN we will SEE the Son of Man coming in the clouds with GREAT POWER and GLORY!!!

Luke assures us in The Book of Acts that this SAME Jesus which was taken up from you into heaven shall so come in like manner as you seem Him go into heaven….a cloud received Him out of their sight….THIS Jesus will return to earth in the same way that He left……Glory! He is coming in the clouds with GREAT POWER and GLORY!

The Book of Revelation John reveals to us this same truth…BEHOLD, He comes with clouds and every eye shall see Him, and they also which pierced Him: and all kindred’s of the earth shall wail because of Him. Even so, Amen!

Jesus, declared Himself as the Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the End, which is, and which was, and which is to come, The ALMIGHTY!!!

In the gospel of Luke Jesus continues to speak to us saying, NOW….when? NOW when these things begin to occur, LOOK UP and LIFT UP your heads, because your redemption (deliverance) is drawing near. Jesus tells us the parable of the fig tree; when it puts forth its buds and comes out as leaves, then perceive for yourself and know that summer is already near. Even so, when you see these things taking place, UNDERSTAND, and KNOW that the Kingdom of God is at hand. Jesus says that the generation, those living at that definite period of time will not perish and pass away until all has taken place. The sky and the earth (the universe, the world) will pass away, but the Words of the Lord Jesus Christ will NOT pass away.

(Psalm 119:89 Forever O Lord Thy Word is settled in the heaven.)

Jesus then instructs us to take heed, and be on guard lest our hearts be overburdened and depressed with the giddiness and headache and nausea of self-indulgence, drunkenness, and worldly worries and cares pertaining to the business of life and that day come upon us suddenly like a trap or a noose; for it will come upon all who live upon the face of the entire earth. We are to keep awake, and watch at all times, praying that we may have the full strength and ability and be counted worthy to escape all these things that will take place, and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man….(Luke 21 Scriptures from Amplified Bible)

Signs of the Times

One does not need to be a great theologian of In Times Prophecy to discern the Sign of the Times…..just take a look at the day we live in.

War, rumors of wars, Jerusalem surrounded by armies, earthquakes, famines, signs in the heavens, and in the earth. All Creation groans for its redemption.
(Romans 8:19-22)

These are some of the BIG signs…lets look at every day life signs of the last days revealed in scripture.

II Timothy 3:1-7
Know this, know what? Know that in the LAST DAYS perilous times will come…..in the finial days perilous times, as reducing strength, difficult, dangerous times, to lower as into a void, vacancy, chaos…..mankind lowering itself to the days of Noah.
Eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until Noah entered the ark, then it was to late. (Matthew 24:36-38)

There’s no truth of God, no fear of God, no respect for God, only the mockery of God.

1. Men lovers of their own selves
2. Covetous
3. Boasters and Proud
4. Blasphemers
5. Disobedient to parents
6. Unthankful
7. Unholy
8. Without natural affections
9. Truce Breakers
10. False Accusers
11. Powerless and without self-control
12. Despisers of those that are good
13. Traitors
14. High-minded
15. Heady…rash in their thinking and behavior
16. Lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God
17. Having a form (appearance) of godliness, but denying the power of it. The Apostle Paul teaches us in 1 Corinthians 1:18 [ Christ the Power and Wisdom of God ] For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. NKJ

18. Ever learning and never coming into the knowledge of the truth….

2 Peter 3:3-18
You must know and understand this, know and understand what? That scoffers will come in the last days walking according to their own lust, and saying, where is the promise of His coming? But Beloved, DO NOT forget this one thing, that with the Lord one day is a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, He is long suffering toward us, and not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

The Day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night., in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. ( talk about global warming)

2 Peter 3:11.…since all these things will be dissolved, what manner of persons ought you to be in HOLY CONDUCT and GODLINESS…..LOOKING and HASTING the coming of the day of GOD, because the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? Nevertheless, we according to His PROMISE, LOOK for a NEW HEAVENS and a NEW EARTH in which RIGHTEOUSNESS dwells…..

The phrase, “Jesus is coming” is so loosely spoken with no understanding. Does one really know what they are saying, do they really know and understand how the day of the Lord is revealed?

The Day Of The Lord

Isaiah 13:6
They come from a far country, From the end of heaven—The Lord and His weapons of indignation, To destroy the whole land. Wail, for the day of the Lord is at hand! It will come as destruction from the Almighty. Therefore all hands will be limp, Every man’s heart will melt.

Revelation 16:16-18
And they gathered them together to the place called in Hebrew, Armageddon.

Seventh Bowl: The Earth Utterly Shaken

Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came out of the temple of heaven, from the throne, saying, “It is done!” And there were noises and thunderings and lightnings; and there was a great earthquake, such a mighty and great earthquake as had not occurred since men were on the earth.

Joel 1:14-16
Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD, Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?

Joel 2:1-3
Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations. A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.

Amos 5:17-19
And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD.
Woe unto you that desire the day of the LORD! to what end is it for you? the day of the LORD is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him.

Amos 8:10-12
And I will turn your feasts into mourning, and all your songs into lamentation; and I will bring up sackcloth upon all loins, and baldness upon every head; and I will make it as the mourning of an only son, and the end thereof as a bitter day. Behold, the days come, saith the Lord GOD, that I will send a famine in the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD: And they shall wander from sea to sea, and from the north even to the east, they shall run to and fro to seek the word of the LORD, and shall not find it.

Nahum 1:6-8
Who can stand before His indignation? And who can endure the fierceness of His anger? His fury is poured out like fire, And the rocks are thrown down by Him. The Lord is good, A stronghold in the day of trouble; And He knows those who trust in Him. But with an overflowing flood He will make an utter end of its place, And darkness will pursue His enemies.

Zephaniah 1:14-15
The great day of the Lord is near; It is near and hastens quickly. The noise of the day of the Lord is bitter; There the mighty men shall cry out. That day is a day of wrath, A day of trouble and distress, A day of devastation and desolation, A day of darkness and gloominess, A day of clouds and thick darkness.

Need I say anymore concerning the Day of the Lord? I think not…..

The Word of God speaks for itself. Knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation. (2 Peter 1:20)

In the last days darkness will cover the earth, deep darkness the people and the love of many will wax cold (think of a candle after the wick has no flame), because of false prophets, doctrines of demons, seducing spirits, people with itchy ears and a falling away from the Everlasting Gospel…..

The question to ask...…What kind of believe are you? Do you believe as the devil, who trembles? One to many times I have heard this phrases….”I have my own way of believing”…...really, and how’s that working for you? Do you know, are you absolutely confident where “your way” of believing will take you into the next life? And let’s not forget….”God understands my heart” Yes, He does….Jeremiah 17:9 “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked…God does understand, and out of His everlasting love for us, He gave His Son, Yeshua/Jesus to give us a new heart..…a heart to know Him, and love Him.

To many people hold to a “Entitlement Salvation” God does not owe you anything. It’s just the opposite. God has purchased you, with the blood of His Son, and through this sacrifice has made a covenant with us..…God owns us, not owes us…amen?

How can two walk together unless they agree? Be honest with yourself right now, and look into the mirror of your soul, and ask yourself this question…Will God come into agreement with my belief system, and the way I live my life? We MUST come into agreement with God.

Billy Sunday once said and I quote: "How can you live wrong and expect to die right?”

What kind if believer are you?

Are you saved by grace through faith? Are you a believe who’s faith has substances, and your working out your salvation?

Hebrews 12:25-28
See that you do not refuse Him who speaks. For if they did not escape who refused Him who spoke on earth, much more shall we not escape if we turn away from Him who speaks from heaven, whose voice then shook the earth; but now He has promised, saying, “Yet once more I shake not only the earth, but also heaven.” Now this, “Yet once more,” indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken, as of things that are made, that the things which cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us have grace, by which we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. For our God is a consuming fire.

Luke 12;19-21
And I will say to my soul, “Soul, you have many goods laid up for many years; take your ease; eat, drink, and be merry.” But God said to him, ‘Fool! This night your soul will be required of you; then whose will those things be which you have provided?’ “So is he who lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.”

One does not need to be a great theologian of “In Times Prophecy” to discern the Sign of the Times…The Lord is not slack concerning His coming, Actually, He shorten those day for the elect’s sake. (Matthew 24;21-22)

All that can be shaken will be shaken....

Are you making your bed in hell or preparing your heart for heaven?

Exodus 15:2
The Lord is my strength and song, And He has become my salvation;
He is my God, and I will praise Him; My father’s God, and I will exalt Him.

In My Neighborhood.....

Wednesday, March 21st. 2012.....I'm up early, getting back into the routine of going to the gym. It has been nearly two weeks since my last workout. I come home from the gym ready to be productive; cleaning up outside the Jesus House, washing my car, oil change, run by the bank, laundry, playing with the dogs, grocery shopping, etc....I have not been since my return home from Taiwan. I defiantly need to get to the store. First things first. The dogs and I are in the back yard playing, Silas loves to roll his log across the yard, as Mac barks at Barnabas for playing keep-away with the ball. I then venture outside with the broom and dust pan, many cigarette butts, and trash cover the sidewalks. As I sweep, I pray and my thoughts are upon the Lord. My neighbor comes out to chat, she shares with me about a older homeless woman she has taken in to get her off the streets. On the streets she is taken advantage of, in many ways. My neighbor is poor, she has her own issues, yet her compassion for this other woman was astonishing to me....after small chat and talking about her coming to church on Sunday, she said she would, and wanted me to sing her favorite song, “You Are God“ I promised I would if she came......

Now, I'm off to the car wash. The dogs are exercised, fed and happy. I just finished vacuuming my car as this elderly man who maintains the car wash, he comes to where I am to empty the garbage can. I engage in a conversation with him, talking about the weather, it was such a beautiful day. We both agreed we were not fond of the winter season. He shared about his wife, and how they planned a vacation in Florida one year during August, he passionately said they would never visit Florida in August again….I smiled and asked him his name, then I said, Jesus loves you, and if you’re ever near West Washington street stop by the Jesus house for a cup of coffee. He replied, thank you. You must know______, and I said yes I do. He shares with me how he has tried to help her, and we both agreed she needs to stop drinking and not let a few certain people hang at her house. It was time to end our conversation, He needed to finish his work, and I had a long to do list calling my name…..I again told him Jesus loved him very much, and He was with him always……He said, thank you!

After washing my car which so desperately needed a good wash, I call Tom, not for any particular reason just to say hi, and ask how his day’s going. My loving husband tells me to forget about my “To Do List” and go home and enjoy the beautiful day. The sun is shinning it‘s 81 degrees, blue skies, it doesn’t take much to change my mind, but I have this list in my purse, things I really need to do….but I decide to go home and enjoy the beautiful day the Lord had given us. I’m thinking about my list of “things to do” and cross off, Wal-Mart, Cub Food, I had already went to the bank, but I should change the oil in my car, after all the line across my mileage read “change oil” I thought I would just stop by Speedy Lube on my way home. I suddenly felt the urge to go straight home, so I did. I pull my car into the parking lot behind Jesus house and I notice a woman across the street standing with a stroller with a little boy sitting in it, he’s about 18 months or so. She is talking with a man who is a new neighbor …As I get out of my car I can tell she has this anxious feeling about her, and she comes across the street and approaches me, with desperation in her voice she ask, “Are you the owner of this place” I said yes, how can I help you. She tells me her story. Her car broke down on her way home to Tinley Park, she stayed in the shelter last night with her son, and all she needed was eleven dollars for a one way ticket home for her and her son….I stand there listening to this mother who has nothing, no cell phone to call anyone, no money to get home or feed her son. She had been everywhere for help and everyone had said no, they had no funds to help her. It’s just eleven dollars, why couldn’t the man across the street help her? I heard him say he would buy her car if she had the title. Why couldn’t an individual from all the places she had been help her? In my eyes, this is not a matter of...do I have money or not to help. It’s a matter of....to him who knows to do good and does not, it is a sin, James 4:17.

I asked what her name was, and her sons name…and said, I will help you, but first I must tell you about Jesus. She said, “oh yes, please. I believe in Jesus” I asked her, what she knew about Jesus, her eyes lit up and she says, I know He loves me and He died for my sins….I said, that’s right, but do you know and believe that Jesus has risen from the dead, and He lives forever more, that you can have not only eternal life, but new life now on this earth…she replies, yes I believe…I gave her what money I had in my wallet, enough for a bus ticket, and enough for to buy lunch for her and her son. I asked if I could pray with her, and immediately she was ready to pray. After we prayed, she hugged me, then she hugged me again, and again. What joy to see the Spirit of the Living God move on her behalf…..if I had stuck to my “to do list” I would not of been there in that moment to see the Lord meet the need of this mother and her son. Oh How Jesus loves us so much….He cares about every little thing that concerns us, He knows every hair upon our head, and He feeds the birds of the air, and clothes the lilies of the fields…..thank you Lord Jesus for giving me the ears to hear the voice of Your Spirit!

I am home now ready to enjoy this beautiful day…. I had finished un-packing my suit case from my travel to Taiwan, started a load of laundry, the dogs have been out, so I’m good and ready to relax outside on the deck, and just meditate upon the Lord. The sounds of cars, motorcycles, people walking, chatting on their cell phones, loud music blaring out of cars, the sub-woofers vibrate the windows of this old building. My eyes are closed as I soak in the suns rays. I cherish every sun beam as it shines upon my face, the heat relaxes me like a hot bubble bath at night…..all of a sudden I hear the voice of a angry young woman, then the voices of other women. I open my eyes to see a young white girl, she appears to be in her mid twenties…at this time she is walking on the side walk next to the Jesus House, across the street, the house on the corner are two very angry older African American women who obviously are not happy with this younger girl. They exchange not so kind of words. The young girl turns and begins to walk back toward the house staying on my side of the street of course….I though to myself, this is not gong to end well. The yelling continues back and forth across the street, well one of the older women comes across the street, following close behind is now a young African American man who is going to be the peace maker. The older woman says, I have children your age, B____(fill in the blank), go home…the young girl acting all bad, flinging her arms every where, as if she is going to hit someone. They continue, the guy is trying to get the young girl to just leave, and she refuses, it’s like they were not going to quite, because they both wanted to have the last word, which never ends in a heated situation as this one….well, the older woman who lives at the corner apartment house has had enough. Apparently, she kicked this young girl out of her house who was visiting the young man. By the way, the young man is not being successful in his attempt to keep peace. When the other woman came across the street, she looked as if she had just crawled out of bed, and she had no intention of being nice to this young girl, who just won’t shut her mouth. Now, she has her chest pushed out, her neck extended as if she was on a dog lease getting pulled, well the other woman came right up to her standing face to face, her lips almost touch the young girls lips, the young girl replies…get out of my face,____,____again fill in the blankets, and this older woman came closer and closer backing this young girl almost into the alley, and the young girl being all cocky was not expecting this woman to do anything, and bam, she pushed this girl then hit her, and the fight was on with the young man trying his best to stop the fight….the other older woman calls out her friends name as she is hitting this girl, you’re not in your house, you need to stop. Well, it lasted but for a few short minutes….Over the years I have learned to pick and choose what I involve myself in, and this was not my fight…I could call the police sure, they may or may not come. If they do, nothing happens. It’s just another day in west Bloomington.

Well, I want to state the obvious facts to this incident and by no means do I want to offend anyone, but a young white girl should not try and act like a black girl when mouthing off to an older African American woman, she will show you what being black is all about……lol

I pray that this young girl’s eyes are open, that her heart not be harden by the deceitfulness of sin. And as far as the other two women, I totally understand their frustration with the younger generation, although I wish they would of handled it in a more mature matter. We need to pray for this younger generation. We need to seek God on what He would have us to do…..Many have heard the gospel, they have heard about God’s love through Jesus Christ, and yet they continue to reject the good news…..it’s a generation who lives in the now, and has no concern for future or the fear of facing God.

Isaiah 60:1-2
Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the LORD is risen upon thee.
For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and His glory shall be seen upon thee…..

Matthew 5:16
Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven…..

Let the glory of Lord shine upon you, may His goodness be seen through your life, not just your words, but in your actions, and all that you do, fo in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ!

Colossians 3:17
And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him.

If You Know, and You Do Not, Then What?

Jesus said, when you have lifted up the Son of man then you will know that I Am He....and you attend church, you hear a good song, say how great the sermon was.....and still you do nothing. (John 8:28)

Jesus said, if you come close to me, I will come close to you, and you attend Bible study, and talk about it.....and still you do nothing. (James 4:8)

Jesus said, if I be lifted up from the earth, I will draw all people unto myself; you hear of missionaries who risk their lives, and say, Oh what a great work.....and still you do nothing. (John 12:32)

You sit, eat, drink, and never give attention to the rest of the world, self absorb, thinking you're ok.....Jesus said, search the scriptures and you think you have eternal life, yet, they speck of me, and still you do not know me. (John 5:38-40)

When Jesus separates the goats from the sheep, He will not ask what church you attend, He will not ask if you've been baptized, He will say in that day, "What you have done unto the least of these, you have done it unto Me" - Dr. Rev. David Lee Grace House, Taipei, Taiwan
 (Matthew 25:31-46)

Your salvation has nothing to do with your works, but your works have everything to do with your salvation! (James 2:17-26)

John 3:16
For God so LOVED the world He GAVE His only begotten Son, that whosoever would believe on Him would not perish, but have everlasting life....

God so LOVED....He GAVE

And in His GIVING.....He CAME

Jesus walked among us in power and demonstration of the Word of God!

He healed the sick, fed a multitude of people, Cast out demons, to all who were thirst, He gave Living Waters, that they would never thirst again.....

James 4:17
To him that knows to do good, and does not, to him it is sin.

Proverbs 21:13
Whoso stops his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry , but shall not be heard.

Psalm 82:1-4
God stands in the congregation of the mighty, He judges among the gods. How long will you judge unjustley, and accept the person of the wicked? Defend the poor, and the fatherless, Do justice, to the afflicted and needy, Deliver the poor and needy: Rid them out of the hand of the wicked.

Jesus commands us to GO and MAKE disciples .....will you hear the sound of His voice and respond to Him, or will you still do nothing?

But you, beloved, building up yourself on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Spirit, Keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercies of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. and of some have compassion, making a difference: And others save with fear, pulling out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh.

Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory, and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever more. Amen.

Authentic Worship

When one comes to know the Lord through His Word, and the revealed truth concerning worship, how can a body of believers sing just one, two, three songs, and call it worship? Within the written pages of scripture the Holy Spirit reveals Gods desire for us to worship Him. We were created by Him, and for Him, and for His pleasure. (Isaiah 43:7; Colossians 1;16; Revelation 4:11) He inhabits the praises of His people. (Psalm 22:3) He surrounds us with Songs of Deliverance. (Psalm 32:7) Have you not read? Have you not heard? The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; He will save, He will rejoice over thee with joy; He will rest in His love, He will joy over thee with singing. (Zephaniah 3:17) Not only will God inhabit our praise, but He rejoices over us with SINGING!!!

If one looks beyond this world into eternity one will see the heavens declare His glory, all creation knows His name, unashamed they SING His praise! (Psalm 19)

Take a glimpse into heaven through the book of Revealtion, and hear the new song being sung, not only in the future, but in the present: "Thou Art worthy to take the book and open the seals thereof: for Thou was slain, and has redeemed us to God by Thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nations; and has made us unto our God, kings and priest: and we shall reign on the earth. And I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beast and elders; and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousands, and ten thousands of thousands; Saying with a LOUD VOICE, worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honor, and glory, and blessings. And every creature which is in HEAVEN and on the EARTH, and UNDER the EARTH, and such as are in the SEA, and all that are in them, heard I saying, " BLESSING, and HONOR, and GLORY, and POWER be unto HIM who sits upon the throne and unto the LAMB for ever and ever." And the four beast said AMEN. And the four and twenty elders FELL DOWN and worshipped Him who LIVES forever and ever! (Revleation 5:9-14)

So tell me, how can we gather together and just sing one, two, three songs, and a closing song then go about our own way? When the Father seeks us to worship Him.

But the hour COMES, and NOW IS when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Fahter SEEKS such to worship Him. God is a spirit, and they who worship Him MUST worship Him in spirit and in truth. (John 4:23-24)

2 Samuel 22:1-3
Then David spoke to the Lord with words of this song, on the day when the Lord had delievered him from the hand of all his enemies, and from the hand of Saul. And he said, "The Lord is my ROCK, and my FORTRESS, and my DELIEVER, the God of my STRENGTH, and my REFUGE, my SAVIOR, You save me from VIOLENCE."

Exodus 15:2
The Lord is my STRENTH, and my SHIELD; my heart trusted in Him and I am helped; Threfore my heart greatly rejoices, and with MY SONG I will Praise Him.

Psalm 69:30
I will praise the name of God with a song, and will magnify Him with thanksgiving.

Psalm 100:4
Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise. Be thankful to Him, and bless His name.

I praise the One who lives forever! I praise the one who has put eternity within my heart! I prasie Him amongst the heavenly host, the sun, the moon and the stars! I praise Him who rides upon the wings of the wind, the One who has created all things for His glory and for His pleasure! I praise His name, for His name is above all names, and forever I will worship in the beauty of His holiness! My Lord Jesus Christ, it is with all my heart that I sing Your praise!!!

I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I sing praise to my GOD while I have my being. (Psalm 104:33)

In The Year Of......

In The Year…..

I’m in the process of telling my story to a published author, and in this process I’ve had to look back at my life, a child of poverty, a child of abuse, and a teenager captured by addiction, and lust, and my lost soul searching for some kind of substance to life, wanting answers to questions, and was never satisfied with what I knew life to be…..

In this process of recording events throughout my life, a converstion arose with the question, “How did I ever get saved?” and “How could I not be mad at God?”
I've never shaken my fist at God in anger…..I lifted up my eyes to heaven desiring to know Him, the Creator, who seemed so far away, but I had hope in my heart that He might see me, and rescue me.

Jeremiah 29:11-14
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. And I will be found of you, saith the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places whither I have driven you, saith the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.

When bad things happen, unexpected circumstances, or things just aren’t going the way you think they should, the common response of most people is to turn to God with the question, why? In some cases, one shakes his fist at God in anger. There’s something in us that wants or needs to find someone to blame, we’ve lost a loved one to terminal illness, a freak accident or life is just not fair, when will I get a break in life, if I just had this or that or if things were different, and one might ask the question, where is God?

Psalm 3
Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me. Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah. But thou, O LORD, art a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head. I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah. I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me. I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about. Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly. Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.

In the year of 2009 my dad was diagnose with stage four lung cancer, with six moths to live…during this time I took care of my dad, whom was never there for me as a child, I now find myself with him everyday, and in the final count down of his life, I held his hands, the same hands that greatly abused my mother, the hands that were unfaithful, the hands that choose alcohol, and women over his own children, I now hold, and bring words of comfort to his dying ears…within five months my dad died.

In the year of 2010, I buried my dad’s body. He was not with the body that died, because my dad rededicated his life to Christ, I say rededicated because during the five months I asked him a lot questions. Questions about life, not about his failure of it, but he shared with me about being “Born Again” when he was a teenager, going to church and playing basket ball with the church youth group….wow!

In the year of 2010, two months after my dad’s death, my little sister is diagnose with a “rare form of cancer”….my inturpration, they have no idea what it is….

For the next seven months I am with my sister, traveling to the Mayo clinic, St,. Anthony’s in Rockford. Staying with her in her ex-husband house, taking care of her every need, physical, emotional and spiritual needs….and in the last three weeks of her life we were at the Serenity House in Oregon, Il…a hospice home for terminally ill people….in the year of 2011, February 26th. I watch my little sister, Barbara Marie Olson, she just turned 40 years old die as I sat at her side….

One would ask, where was your God?
In her fragile voice she asked me, Bonnie, when you pray will you ask God where He’s going to take me? I quickly listened for the Spirit of the Lord to speak, and immediately said, he is going to take you to Himself….

John 14:1-3
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.

In the years when I was a child I saw the Lord, and I began to search for Him!

In the year of my addiction and lust, I saw the Lord, and I knew the choices I was making was not pleasing to Him!

In the Year of my repentances, I saw the Lord High and Lifted Up, and His train filled the temple….this temple! Born Again, filled with the Holy Ghost!!!

In the Year of my dad’s death….I saw the Lord in all of His mercy, and goodness!

In the Year of my sisters death….I saw the Lord and His power to save!

In the year of my Children trying to find their own way…I saw the Lord’s mighty hand upon them to lead them to His grace!

We need to see the Lord as Isaiah saw the Lord! It was in the year that King Uzziah died. In the year of whatever it is we might be going through, we must see our need for God, and that without Him we can do nothing. We must see the ugliness of our own sin, our own ways, and see that this world and all that it stands for will never be enough. We must fall on our face before a Holy God, and when we do, may we experience the worship of heaven; the Lord sitting upon His throne, high and lifted up, His train fills the temple of our worship, of our prayers; May we hear the voice of the angles singing, Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of Host; the whole earth is full of His glory! The Sufferings of this present time are not worthy to compare to the GLORY that will be revealed in us! (Romans 8:18); May we know that the Lord will move heaven and earth to visit us; and when we see Him, may we worship Him in Spirit and Truth, that our eyes have seen the King, the Lord of Host, and desperately see our need of Him; Let Him touch our lips with the coal of His fire, and purify our hearts before Him; May we respond saying, Here I Am Lord, Send Me!!!

May we see with our eyes, and hear with our ears, understand with our hearts, and return and be healed in Yeshua/Jesus name!!!

Isaiah 6:1-10
In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord sitting on a throne, high and lifted up, and the train of His robe filled the temple. Above it stood seraphim; each one had six wings: with two he covered his face, with two he covered his feet, and with two he flew. And one cried to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; The whole earth is full of His glory!” And the posts of the door were shaken by the voice of him who cried out, and the house was filled with smoke. So I said: “Woe is me, for I am undone! Because I am a man of unclean lips, And I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; For my eyes have seen the King,
The Lord of hosts.” Then one of the seraphim flew to me, having in his hand a live coal which he had taken with the tongs from the altar. And he touched my mouth with it, and said: “Behold, this has touched your lips; Your iniquity is taken away, And your sin purged.” Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: “Whom shall I send, And who will go for Us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” And He said, “Go, and tell this people: ‘Keep on hearing, but do not understand; Keep on seeing, but do not perceive.’ “Make the heart of this people dull, And their ears heavy, And shut their eyes; Lest they see with their eyes, And hear with their ears, And understand with their heart, And return and be healed.”

Hebrews 2:8-10
You have put all things in subjection under his feet.” For in that He put all in subjection under him, He left nothing that is not put under him. But now we do not yet see all things put under him. But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that He, by the grace of God, might taste death for everyone.

Hebrews 12:2
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Psalm 121
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is thy keeper: the LORD is thy shade upon thy right hand. The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. The LORD shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

Acts 4:12-14
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Now when they saw the boldness of Peter and John, and perceived that they were unlearned and ignorant men, they marvelled; and they took knowledge of them, that they had been with Jesus. And beholding the man which was healed standing with them, they could say nothing against it.

Spend time with the Lord Jesus Christ today: Through worship, prayer and let His Words dwell in you richly, Let your light shine so all men will see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven, knowing that He, The Lord of Host, works all things out for our good, because we love Him, and we are called according to His purpose!

Shalom Always,
