Not all, but many songs that are called worship songs that are sung in churches on Sunday mornings leave us lingering in the Outer Courts. They are songs about God, and songs that are focused on ourselves. It's not wrong or bad, but it cannot be called worship. It's no wonder the power and presence of the Lord is not found within the church today. This is just my observation. Many attend church, but few enter into the Sanctuary to minister unto the Lord Most High, who is blessed forever.
I'm Just Saying!
Psalm 63:1-2
O God, You are my God; early will I seek You. My soul thirst for You; my flesh longs for You; in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. So I have looked for You in the Sanctuary. To see Your Power and Your Glory.
2 Chronicles 5:13-14
It came to pass as the trumpeters and singers were as ONE, to make ONE sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music, and praised the LORD, saying For He is good, for His mercy endures for ever: that then the house was FILLED with a cloud, even the House of the LORD; so that the priest could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud; for the GLORY of the LORD had FILLED the House of GOD.
Psalm 77:13
Thy way, O God is in the Sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?
My God is worthy of more than just three songs on a Sunday morning... He is worthy of all my praise!
Psalm 92
But Thou, LORD, art Most High for evermore.
