Stangers In The Sanctuary...

Many People Attend Church, but Few Will Enter Into the Sanctuary... It's a "Thriller" morning on this Sabbath Day. As I walked into the House of the LORD I had not realized I entered into a “Gangster paradise.” in the midst of the lights and glamour I heard songs of praise upon the altar, “I Want to Rock and Roll All Night and Party Every day” on a “Crazy Train” where, “They Have friends in Low Places, Where the Whisky Drowns and Beer Chases their Blues Away”…and they think they’re ok? Leaders of flesh, filled with vain glory as they flatter the congregation who seem to sit with smiles on their faces clapping their hands as if they were at night club. The Pastor’s say, “we are seeker friendly” as the leaders proclaim they are “relevant” to today’s culture, and all the while they tread upon the courts of the Most High God. Like puppets on a string as if there were an invisible Puppet Master fulfilling his lust through them. They profane the Sanctuary of the Holy God with strange fire, Why? Because there are Strangers in the Sanctuary… In that you have brought into My Sanctuary strangers, uncircumcised in heart, and uncircumcised in flesh, to be in My Sanctuary, to pollute it, even My House, when you offer My bread, the fat and the blood, and they have broken My Covenant because of all your abominations. Ezekiel 44:7 Question: What do you bring into the sanctuary? When you stand before God, to worship Him, do you stand with your heart uncircumcised, filled with the desires of flesh? Have you honored His covenant or is it broken down by the idols that still have a place within your heart? And Nadab and Abinhu, the sons of Aaron, took either of them his censer and put fire therein, and put incense there on and offered ‘strange fire” before the LORD, which He commanded them not. Leviticus 10:1 Question: Do you offer stranger fire, approaching Him any way you choose? To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto Me? Saith the LORD: I Am full of burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of the bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats. When you come to appear before me, who has required this at your hand, to tread my courts? Isaiah 1:11-12 Question: What is your purpose when you enter into the House of the LORD? Wherefore the LORD said, “forasmuch as this people draw near Me with their mouth, and with their lips do honor Me, but have removed their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the precept of men. Isaiah 29: 13 Question: Is your heart turned to the Lord to worship Him in spirit and in truth? This people draw near unto me with their mouth, and honor Me with their lips; but their heart is far from Me. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrine the commandments of men…and He called the multitude, and said unto them, “Hear and Understand” Matthew 15:8 Question: Is your worship taught from man's understanding making it relevant to the culture? Not everyone who says unto Me, LORD, LORD, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, “LORD, LORD, have we not prophesied in Thy name and I Thy name have cast out devils, and in Thy name done many wonderful works? And I will profess unto them, “I Never Knew You: Depart From Me, you that work iniquity.” Matthew 7:21-23 Question: Do you stand before the Lord with holy fear, knowing He is the one who can kill your body and cast your soul into hell? As a believer, as a worshiper, as one who stands before the LORD in His House…comes great responsibility. Psalm 2:11 “Worship the Lord with reverence and rejoice with trembling.” Psalm 9:20 Put them in fear, O Lord: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah. Psalm 33:8 Let all the earth fear the Lord: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of Him Psalm 96:9 O worship the Lord in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth. Revelation 15:3-4 And they sing the song of Moses the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb, saying, Great and marvellous are thy works, Lord God Almighty; just and true are thy ways, thou King of saints. Who shall not fear Thee, O Lord, and glorify Thy name? for thou only art holy: for all nations shall come and worship before thee; for Thy judgments are made manifest. Question: Have you encountered the power of the presence of Him who lives forever? There is a season and a time for everything under heaven. I understand, wanting to reach the "un-churched" but when and where is that to take place? Is it in the House of the LORD? Yes, we are to preach the gospel...when we enter into the Sanctuary, what is required of us? What should we expect? Better yet, what does God expect of us? The Lord tells Moses’ Let everyone who is willing, come, make me a Sanctuary that I may dwell among them...Between the Cherubim’s, from above the Mercy Seat, there I will meet with them, there I will commune with them, and there I will speak to them. (Exodus 25) I believe the devil has set himself up upon the mount of the congregation and has either limited, removed and or defiled the true worship the Father seeks. He has from the beginning desired to steal the worship of God, and He to this day continues to fulfill his lust through the lack of our understanding of worship. May we as His people, repent, return, and repair the altar of our worship...He who inhabits eternity inhabits the praises of His people...God is a Spirit and those who worship Him, MUST worship Him in spirit and in truth. For the Father seeks us to worship Him. May we as God's People created for His glory show forth His praise, as we desire the worship of heaven on earth!
